The safety eyes make this pattern not safe for children under 3, eyes can be embroidered on instead.

Edit: Response has been that the pattern for the large hat is too large - I based this off my husband who only later told me he has an XL helmet size. Overall everyone seems to think that the 78 around is just fine for size.

Edit: As people have noted the beards are heavy, the only way to attached I had seen when I wrote up the pattern was buttons. Others have since attached the beard to a hair elastic so that it just holds to the face like a head band, or have used strings/yarn to tie the beard to the face. These options might work better for you.

Pattern is currently for a small adult head. If anyone modifies it to fit a child or larger adult head please let me know.
