This chart was made with worsted weight acrylic yarn in mind, using a 3.25 or 3.5 mm hook. But can be made with any weight of yarn and a hook size a 2-2.5 sizes smaller than the recommended hook size in order to keep the shapes looking sharp and to not see any yarn carried through or behind the design.
