The Blue Bird (Lintu Sininen) was originally published in Rakkaat Kuviot Magazine. The color work pattern was inspired by a beautiful The Blue Bird wall paper from a Finnish company called Tapettitehdas.

Tie sock pattern is a fun project! You can play with colors and make the stripes with different colors or only use one color.

Syysyö (Autumn night) Socks have colors and shapes from the Nordic Autumn nights, Northern light and colors of the trees.

This sweater is knitted from top to bottom starting from the neck ribbing.

Raanu is a Finnish traditional heavy woven rug which has been used as bed cover and wall textile. I’ve always loved the beautiful shapes and pictures on them and so came the idea to bring the pattern to socks as well.

“Riihi” is a Finnish word and means drying barn. It’s a place where people used to dried grain.

This sweater got its inspiration while I was sitting in a boat fishing with my husband on the lake next to our cabin. Havas means fishnet in Finnish and the beautiful cable pattern reminds me of it.

Outa is a name for a forest in Lapland. These deep green socks with beautiful knitted shapes on them remind me of spruce forests where I love to wonder.

Marja Slippers are fun and fast to knit! Also a perfect gift since the flexible heel fits different shapes and sizes of feet.
