Crochet: Afghan block
Two i-cords are worked into this granny square as a part of a flower.
Crochet: Afghan block
I had another go at granny squares with i-cords that I tried one year ago. This time, I kept up with writing down the pattern. So, there you got it!
Crochet: Afghan block
The pattern results in a light, lacy granny square and doesn´t require a lot of yarn. Some experience is needed as it includes crossed stitches - but if you can work double or even treple crochets, you will master this pattern.
Crochet: Stitch pattern
That is a pattern of a granny square (about 11 x 11 cm) for yarn like Zpagetti.
Crochet: Potholder
Inspired by quilt patterns, I worked a double sided potholder with scraps from cotton yarn. The pattern is worked with slip stitch, chain stitch, single and double crochet. Stitches are added by working into the basis (bottom part) of double crochet stitches.
Knitting: Scarf
A version of the “Braided Scarf”: instead of normal start and end, it has paddle shaped ends. This pattern is also an exact instruction instead of the general description of the “Braided Scarf”.
Crochet: Scarf
A bit fiddly at first, but a simple, yet interesting stitch that lets your work grow rapidly.
Knitting: Scarf
Unlike other patterns for braided scarves, this pattern results in two identical sides - there is no ugly backside.
