Main color is ístex plötulopi but find some bright color for the pattern. I used herb colored yarn, spun in a local mini mill.

You need about 70 gr of the main color and 10 gr of pattern color. And a small circle needle of 4.5mm/7 US

Traditional Icelandic wool sweater for children but lighter than air because it is only knitted with a single thread of the Icelandic plötulopi yarn. Four sizes from 1-8 years old, the largest one needs about 180 gr of main color and 25 gr of pattern color.

A new twist on the traditional Icelandic sweater, where you only knit with single thread of Lopi yarn. Sizes are XS, S, M, L, XL. For the biggest one you need 250 gr of the main colour, so buy 3 plates of it (makes a total of a little over 300gr). Then buy one of each pattern colour; a total of 5 plötulopi plates.
