Knitting: Beanie, Toque
An easy hat that knits up in a day. The shaping creates a nifty diamond on the crown. The pattern is written for a large hat, (because I have a big head) but it’s easy to change sizes.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
This hat was made for Tara - a beautiful girl going through chemo during the summer. The pattern is free to use - the only payment I ask is that you join in our photo project. I’m trying to show Tara the world, one photo at a time while she goes through chemo. The link is in the pattern.
Crochet: Hanging Ornament
Ornament pattern - easy enough to make several in an afternoon. Make one for everyone in the family and personalize with their initial.
Crochet: Scarf
Great beginner pattern - it works up super fast and is very easy. Gauge isn’t important
Crochet: Slippers
Super Easy. You only need basic crochet skills to whip out a pair.
Crochet: Booties
Happy little hippos to crochet
Crochet: Booties
Size is easy to adjust. Use 4mm G hook for Newborn, 4.5mm G Hook for 0-3 Months, and 5mm H hook for 3-6 months. The blue whales were made with a 4mm hook and the yellow ones were made with H.
Knitting: Scarf
Easy and cute. Because it’s garter stitch, it’s great for a beginner knitter. For the coral snake I used black, red & yellow. Make other snakes just by using other colors.
Crochet: Booties
These work up fast and are so easy to customize. I used velcro for the closure, a snap would be just as easy.
Crochet: Slippers
Easy pattern, great for beginners or when you want something fast. It’s worked mostly in single crochet.
Crochet: Dress
I currently only have instructions for size 6-9 months. That’s with a cotton thread. Using a lighter weight yarn would take it down a size. I’ve also made a smaller one with a smaller hook and gone up a hook size for 9-12 months - again in cotton.
Crochet: Booties
I used (4) yarn and a G hook for newborn, going up to an H gave me 3-6 months size.
