Knitting: Cowl
Meander is a geometric cowl, modeled after the Greek Key pattern. With small ribbing at either edge and a bold colorwork pattern in the middle, Meander is the perfect accessory for professional and casual wardrobes alike. The sample is worked in Berroco Vintage in Ruby and Mellow.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
Capelo is a simple toque with knotwork cables emerging from the brim ribbing. Decreases are worked to pull the knotwork cables inward to the crown and finish with a symmetrical twist. Capelo is easily adapted for children by working one less pattern repeat. Capelo (adult size) in pictures made with Cascade 220 Heathers in Indigo Frost.

Mellifera is a pair of fingerless gloves with a delicate lace cuff transitioning to a honeybee lace insert on the hand. Mellifera is a quick knit, perfect for a weekend or road trip project; ideal for an impressive last minute gift! Gloves in pictures were made with Manos del Uruguay Maxima in Oxygen (M2349).

Epona is a simple, slightly slouchy lace hat, and my first exploration in beaded knitting. Single-ply yarn brings a soft definition to the columns of lace. Model hat is in Madeline Tosh Merino Light in Briar.

Trellis is a simple yet elegant stole meant to wrap the shoulders on late summer nights and into early fall. The straight knit columns are divided by slanting lacework, reminiscent of the trellis of sweet peas my mother keeps each year. Leigh is a gently spiraling shawl worked sideways, alternating stockinette and lace sections in a simple yet elegant design. Increases on every row and decreases on alternate rows give this shawl a slow spiral shape. Worked sideways from one tip, Leigh is infinitely resizable and can be made with as little or as much yarn as desired.
