Knitting: Cowl
Fir Tree cowl is a lined cowl that measures 26 inches around and 9 inches high. It is a comfortable and warm fit. I chose a bright color for the liner which looks quite pretty when worn as it flops open a bit showing the pop of contrasting color. I also chose to do a Latvian braid for the top edge of the cowl which gives it nice finish.
Knitting: Cowl
This simple yet lovely lace pattern is a 17 stitch repeat and a great first lace project for someone familiar with working in the round. The pattern is such that the circumference can be easily modified to turn this into a drapey cowl or an infinity scarf just by casting on additional stitches in increments of 17.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This wrap started out as a shawl. When I was halfway done with it, I added a button and turned it into a buttoned wrap similar to one I had seen in the window of a boutique in Naples, Florida.
