I saw this concept as a knitted piece, but had no idea of who the author was. As I couldn’t find the knitted pattern on Ravelry, I noted an adaptation for crochet. It is a simple pattern, in chain stitches and single crochet. It works up quickly and makes a great gift.

A simple choker with a shamrock to wear on St. Patrick’s Day. A good way to use scraps; also fun for gifts. The choker is made to the size of the wearer’s neck, so guage isn’t critical - You will want to use thread / fingering / sock / sport yarn.
