This hat is free for members of the Kitchener Waterloo Knitters’ Guild. It was designed as part of the 30th year celebrations. It is available to members in the member only section of their website.

I offered to make my sister a shawl for her wedding day. After some discussion she decided on a rectangular shape; however, I was already envisioning a centre star burst. This shawl combines both those features. You start in the centre with a circular cast on, knitting the star burst, and then convert the hexagon into a square to knit the sides...

This is pattern is for the charts only. I used the charts to duplicate stitch onto a hat and to knit in intarsia with an existing sweater pattern. I used duplicate stitch for some areas as well as intarsia for the sweater. I would love to see what you do with the charts.

This hat has an intarsia cabled brim and then stitches are picked up and a brioche body of the hat is knit.
