Yarn: Worsted Weight Yarn

A warm, chunky, cabeled scarf.

Sample scarf was made with handspun 100% BFL wool yarn. The body of the scarf is knitted, the simple shell edging is crochet. This scarf was inspired by the name (Mermaid) of the hand dyed wool fiber that I spun into yarn.

My first finished bag ended up 6” x 5” width & 8” tall, the second one was 6” square on the width & 8” tall. If you want it a little larger you could always go with a little less felting.

This is a simple pattern that I designed. I used Schachenmayr Punto yarn which is a little thinner than Worsted Weight, but feel free to use whatever cotton you have on hand.
