A cute knit squash to add to your decor.  Knit in the round in a cable pattern for interest, the squash works up quickly.  Embellish with whatever you would like for the stem, or make a simple icord stem.
Knitting: Christmas Stocking
Imagine this beautiful cable stocking hanging in your home. The stocking starts with the cabled and popcorn band that reminds me of the popcorn and fruit garland we made and hung on the trees outside for the animals to enjoy.  The stitches gets picked up from the top band and worked down to the toe with an afterthought heel, by providing a doub...

My sister has breast cancer, the other sister is suffering from cervical cancer. I live 2000 miles away and cannot help as much as I would like, so I made them Chemo Caps. With no hair to help keep them in place, they need to be snug. Since they live in Arizona, snug doesn’t always feel so well, especially with the summer heat in full force. So...

The Stars and Stripes. I was always taught respect for the Flag, not just because it is our Nations Flag, but because of all the blood, sweat, tears and sacrifice that the flag symbolizes. And so I give to you this pattern for a large scarf or small wrap to wear with pride.

Nothing is calmer to me than sitting beside the water and hearing the water flowing over the rocks in the bed. It’s mesmerizing to watch and listen to. So I designed this pattern utilizing the baubles I so love to make as the rocks and the cables as the water flowing down the riverbed.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
After my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer and started treatment, she began to lose her hair very quickly. As she lives in the Arizona Desert, she needed something extremely light, yet soft and cozy. My original hat was made out of yarn I found in my stash that had a combination of silk, bamboo, alpaca, and nylon in a lace weight. So I he...
Knitting: Legwarmers
Minnesota gets a lot of snow. Sometimes a little, sometimes a LOT! These little boot toppers help to keep the snow out of your boots, whether they are ankle boots, mid-sized, knee-hight, or even over the knee.
Knitting: Cape
Inspired by the television show outlander (full disclosure, I’ve never seen the show, was just showed a picture). A very cozy accessory piece in a nice neutral to throw around your shoulders on a nice, brisk fall or winter day. Piece is done by holding 2 strands of yarn together, matching up the color repeats by removing some yarn until the two...

I live in Minnesota, Paul Bunyan Country, and so I designed this set to help warm you up Lumberjack style. The gingham style plaid helps to keep the fabric stretchy so that it conforms to your shape to keep the heat in and cold out!

I wanted our learn to crochet projects to mirror our Learn to knit projects at the store, so I decided to design an easy pattern. Currently available in two sizes, but you would need to just add rows to the pattern to increase the width around.
Knitting: Scarf
I used the Claudia Hand Painted Yarns Banana Leaf Shawl kit and had leftover yarn that is too scumptious to not use, so I designed this scarf to utilize the leftovers. The Daisy stitch pattern showcases the Lust and the verigation in Lust also makes the daisy stitch look like it’s moving. The Serenity makes a nice, soft, cozy background for the...
Knitting: Cowl
A nice quick knit for a new accessory. Pattern is worked over 12 stitches with a 7 round repeat, so it is easy to make the cowl longer, shorter, or wider-just add or subtract repeats. Gauge is not important with this garment.

So my sister said my adult nephew wanted a Steeler’s scarf for Christmas. He recently became a flight Attendant and was stationed in Miami, moving from Arizona. So he has no warm clothing for when he flies to the colder climates. Auntie to the rescue! Only I couldn’t find any patterns of what I was picturing in my head. Since when they fly, the...
