3/14/20: Happy Pi day. After washing and (aggressively) blocking, the bottom still wants to roll up, so I recommend repeating the purl row prior to knitting the i-cord bind-off.

Okay, if one’s going to knit a pattern one’s written, one should FOLLOW the pattern.

I’ve been playing around with different patterns from the book “400 Knitting Stitches” from Potter Craft to make hats for a local Chemo center. The basic “V” pattern was from page 212. I modified it so that the V’s alternated rather than sitting one on top of the other as in the book.

I created this pattern for the 2018 CLICK for Babies Knit and Crochet Pattern Contest, but since it was not selected, I’m making it available, anyway. Have fun, and please let me know if you run into any problems with the pattern.
