Knitting: Pullover
This sweater has a circular yoke and is knitted from the top down. The pattern is easily modified to shorten or lengthen the top. Yardage indicated is for 3/4 length sleeves. Less will be needed for short sleeves. The delicate lace yoke along with the eyelet trim on the sleeves and hem allow for a perfect little sweater for springtime wear. Thi...
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This pattern includes a knitted and crocheted hat instructions that The Twisted Knitter community participated in as a “Hat-A-Long” in February of 2024. The knitted hat includes a charted heart pattern above the brim of the hat. The crocheted hat includes cute heart shapes that are added to the hat at the end. Hope you enjoy!
Knitting: Cowl
This is an easy color work cowl using mosaic stitches to create a wonderfully squishy and warm garment that will tuck nicely into a coat. I suggest you use two highly contrasting yarns to be able to clearly see the pyramid pattern emerge with this beautiful yarn. This pattern will be free for Black Friday and Small Business Saturday, November 2...
Knitting: Cowl
This is a super squishy cowl that is easily adapted to make larger or smaller in 2 inch increments by adding or subtracting in multiples of 8 stitches. It can also be made to the depth or your liking by adding or subtracting repeats. You can also drop the mohair and use a worsted weight yarn. Oh the possibilities!

This ebook contains the patterns for 12 gnomes, one for each month. The gnomes can be made larger by using thicker yarn and larger needles.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Have you ever picked up some lovely yarns and just paused and thought “What do you want to be?” Well, when I paused and reflected on the beautiful colors in Marla and Sami, I saw Sunsets, Mountain Lakes, Beaches, a Misty Morning - so many possibilities!
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
“In Your Face” is a mostly rectangular, fun shawl in just about any color combination you can imagine. It comes to a point at each end of the shawl that just begged for a tassel. The shawl takes a full skein of fingering weight yarn and 5 minis. The color stripes are done in varying sizes keeping the knitting interesting. There is a small lace ...
Knitting: Mittens
I wanted a fun, warm mitten to protect my hands on early morning walks in the winter. I wanted bright pops of color and this mitten came to be. It is written for one size, but can be made larger or smaller by increasing or decreasing the number of stitches in multiples of 4. Stay warm!
Knitting: Cowl
When I first held the Baah Sonoma in Colorway “Dashing All the Way” - I just had to have it! I kept walking around The Twisted Knitter saying OMG. What to make with it??? Kim suggested adding a mohair and then Judy suggested the Suri Merino and I just could see them as a moebius with a folded hem. Since it is quite a bit of kitchener, I added a...

Gniber is a fun little knitting gnome created for the 2022 Carolina Fiber Fest Craft Along. The pattern is written for fingering weight yarn, but any size yarn will work adjusting yardage and needle size.
Knitting: Cowl
I fell in love with Wonderland Yarns Silk Twist when it arrived at The Twisted Knitter in Mebane, NC. The colorway “The Crown” reminded me of saffron and hence the name, “Anyway You Spice It”. I knew I wanted this amazing yarn in a cowl around my neck! This cowl is worked flat and then seamed at the end to create an easy to wear accessory that ...
Knitting: Stocking
Here is a great way to bring holiday HO HO HO cheer! This is a very quick knit that fits between a 19 and 24 inch head circumference. The sample was made with 2 skeins Ravelry Red and 1 skein Natural. If you get 3 skeins of Ravelry Red, you can make two hats!
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
When I saw the Balayage solid and multi-color yarns, I could just see the color work and the way to alternate the design through the mitts. I chose a Balayage solid paired with a Balayage mulit-color to make this. You will need about 60 yards of each color. Pair it with the Skeleton Key Hat to use the rest of the yarn! Purchase both patterns an...

This is a fun, quick knitted hat made with fingering weight yarns in 2 contrasting colors. When I saw the Balayage solid and multi-color yarns, I could just see the color work and the way to alternate the design through the hat. I chose a Balayage solid paired with a Balayage mulit-color to make this. You will need about 80 yards of each color....
Knitting: Scarf
This scarf is knitted on a bias with an I-cord edging using approximately 80 yards each of 12 colors of fingering weight yarn. Each section dances into the next with twisted stitches since we are, of course, twisted at The Twisted Knitter. When I saw Kim’s hand dyed minis, I dreamed this design that night. The yarn is a joy to work with and the...
Knitting: Cowl
This is a cowl I designed in memory of my Mom. She loved predicting when it was going to snow by saying, “Smells like snow!”
Knitting: Cowl
This cowl was designed to celebrate LYS day 2022. The Twisted Knitter dyed 2 color ways for LYS 2022, one in a teal with sprinkles called Mermaid Wishes (which begs the question - what DO mermaids wish for???) and one in a pink with sprinkles called Cherry Blossoms. The pattern includes a unique decrease cable stitch that can be worked without ...
Knitting: Cowl
Join The Twisted Knitter knit along for March Madness and knit this little cowl in your team colors (or not)!!! This little cowl is a quick knit that produces a nice, squishy cowl with cables that mimic either basketballs or the net - depending on how you look at it. The pattern is written for DK or Worsted weight yarns, but is easily adjusted ...
Knitting: Cowl
This pattern was created with the The Twisted Knitter Hand Dyed Originals colorway “Wisteria Sprinkles” in mind. The name is because we really are twisted and the twisted cables made me think of wisteria and how the vines twist around. This pattern can be easily modified by increasing the number of stitches by multiples of 14 and adding repeats...
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This wrap is to keep you warm on those chilly nights on the beach! This pattern is free through the end of May 2021 to help celebrate The Twisted Knitter’s 10th anniversary!
Knitting: Cowl
This is a generous chevron cowl that showcases the beautiful gradation of the Blossoms yarn. However, any sport weight yarn can be used. The colorway chosen for the sample test knitted by Judy (whose consistent tension makes all of us jealous) inspired Judy, Lisa and Rebecca at The Twisted Knitter to dub it the “FS Cowl”. A definite inside joke...
Knitting: Scarf
This pattern started as a mystery knit along at The Twisted Knitter two years ago to help knitters advance their knitting skills in lace without being so intimidating.
