Knitting: Sweater - Other
A cropped sweater that is mostly sleeve, this pattern works as a template for your own innovations. The sample is knit with bamboo, but any yarn can be shown off by this simple design. Drape and comfort are essential, so bring on your favorite next-to-skin fibers.
Knitting: Cowl
Art for your neck: a corrugated rib cowl with two contrasting art yarns, knit in the round.
Knitting: Scarf
I wanted to make a set of interlacing branches with my handspun Flower Fossil yarn. The scarf has been well-received here on Ravelry, so here’s my attempt to write up the pattern.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This is another pattern I learned in Ladakh, India, and I’m noting down to share with others. I collected it, rather than designing it.
Knitting: Cardigan
ERRATA: Someone has noticed a mistake in the increase row instructions. You knit to 2 sts before marker, then knit into front & back of one stitch, then KNIT ONE (this is missing from the pattern instructions), slip marker, knit into front & back of next stitch.
Knitting: Slippers
Truth be told, I did not “design” this footie. I learned it in Ladakh, North India, and wrote the pattern.
