Size H hook, clip on type marker, tape, tapestry needle

This tee is knitted from the bottom up in two pieces until the hem is finished, then combined to knit in the round until the armholes are reached. It is then separated again for shaping and finished on the shoulders with a three needle bind off.

Although this hat was originally made in the Lujoso, I then made it in the Cumulus from Juniper moon for someone who was allergic to wool. Any yarn will work as long as you make the initial band to fit around your head.

I knitted this with 4 skeins of Millefiori, I had approximately 1/2 skein left. Then I had it test knitted in Blue Heron Rayon twist and used just over 1 skein. The pattern can easliy be made longer or shorter, just adjusting the amount of stitches for the knitted on lace edging. The Millefiori is for warmth but using the rayon gave it a dressy...

I designed this vest for my daughter. Mornings can be quite cold in our yarn shop and this is just the thing to take the chill off! It is a quick knit with a simple stitch pattern that shows well in multicolor or solid yarns.
