I used 3 different colors with the Linen stitch. Each row is a different color. I did a stripe with 1 color for about 3 inches, but you can do all 3 as well

Very easy pattern. Skills needed; knit, purl, slip, knit front and back, yarn over, knit 2 together, and i-cord bind off directions included. This is a garter stitch pattern, knit on both sides. Used a needle 2 sizes larger. Very nice drape to it.
