This hat was designed at the request of my friend Chantelle, and now I’m happy to make it available to all you knitters out there.

This pattern was designed to make the most of a skein of Noro Shiraito, a luxuriously soft yarn with beautiful colours.

My favourite type of short row, the German short row, is simple to execute, and is nearly imperceptible in your fabric. When using this method, you don’t need to wrap your stitches, nor do you need to hang markers off your yarn at each turn. Give it a try!

This simple and handsome cowl is knit out a single skein of super-bulky yarn, giving a cozy and plush fabric to ward off chills. It is reversible inside out as well as upside down.
