I love doing things that are creative and just a little bit different, and I think this hat hits both of those marks. I decided early on that I wanted to try to capture the glorious artistry of ocean waves in a baby hat, and I think I’ve done a pretty good job!

I designed this pattern, with the help of my brother, for his and my sister-in-law’s first baby! He was really excited about doing a deer - I think the love of woodland creatures runs in our family :) but he did not want a cartoon deer with the big eyes, so I adorned her with flowers instead!

I realized recently that we had hats for just about every other major holiday, except New Years! What an oversight!! The idea was to make a party hat that resembled a glass of champagne. ’Tis the season!

I LOVE this rib pattern, and you may notice that it’s shown up in some of our other designs as well. It is very stretchy and forgiving so the size categories are broader than with some of our other beanies.

An artistic take on the classic bluebell. This was one of those patterns that took me SO many tries to get right…but I could not be happier with the end result!! I’ve always wanted to feature traveling vines lace in one of my patterns and I finally found the perfect design for it.

Meet Chip & Dale! I I never knew which one was Chip and which one was Dale…I had to look it up and I learned that Chip is the one with the “chocolate chip” nose. I’m not sure if that’s in any way related to how the characters were originally named but what a cute easy way to tell them apart

So for Christmas, my sister-in-law told me she wanted cute baby hats as a gift for her 6 mo old. Easy enough. So I asked if she wanted winter hats or summer hats. Summer (emphatically!!). And then I asked if she had any design requests to which she replied, flowers or something cute. “…or something cute” haha. I’ve always loved hibiscus flowers...

How cute is he!!! Happy Winter with a lovely polar bear baby hat inspired by the darling polar bear cubs at the north pole. Words cannot describe how thick and squishy this hat is! It uses two different brioche-style stitches to create an unparalleled level of softness and warmth.

So this hat was an accident but I think it’s a pretty cute accident!⁠ Last summer I started designing an ocean waves hat, but the first “waves” pattern I used looked so much like Christmas garland that I decided it just had to join our At The North Pole Collection.
