Knitting: Baby Blanket
This blanket can literally be made any size. It is a very easy pattern! For a 3 color version, you need 109 yards each of two colors, and 218 yards of a third.
Knitting: Cowl
This quick, easy, and, most of all, soft cowl is absolute heaven around your neck. Double the stitches (and yardage) and make an infinity scarf; the pattern is not hard to memorize!
Knitting: Mittens
These little mittens are to prevent the newborn baby from eagerly scratching his or her own eyes out! Those nails are pretty sharp…
Crochet: Coaster
A quick and easy gift set: you can whip out several of these in one sitting! Gauge doesn’t really matter, and the yarn does all the color changes for you. Can it get easier? Not really!
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I actually started this hat because I needed something to do in the dentist’s chair to keep my mind off where I was. The first one was halfway done by the time I left, and I finished it up quickly, to many oohs and aahs from friends and customers.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This hat is knitted top down, so you will need Size 6 DPNs and size 6 16 inch circular needle.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
A flattering hat must be a hattering, no? This was a pattern I came up with when I wanted to play with mosaic/slip stitch knitting and fancy decreases.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
After making the Quickmas Stocking, I had yarn left over… this hat almost made itself! :)
Knitting: Christmas Stocking
This is the fastest Christmas Stocking in the West! I’m uploading it on Dec 11, and you would still have time to make one for every member of your family before X-mas. Unless you have 18 children or something… and even then, you might have time :)
Crochet: Tote
A friend of mine, a breast cancer survivor, commented “I’ve only ever seen two “pink ribbon” type projects that I liked, and they were both yours. Yours aren’t cloying!“
Knitting: Bonnet
Make this in a luxurious silk for a true heirloom, or do a bunch in a nice cotton to give to friends and other worthy recipients. The pattern it is both easy and cute!
Knitting: Toy Food
This cupcake is cute and fast and can be done in a variety of yarns. The original is bulky on size 11 needles, because I wanted instant gratification once I had the idea :)
Knitting: Hats - Other
Made for my daughter’s friend’s little brother (complicated yet?), this is one of the best received patterns I’ve ever come up with. It’s fast (see a trend in my designs yet?), and so cute it’s not even funny!
