Pirate & the Bloody Bohemian is a Scandinavian style sack hat knit in the round using stranded technique. The Aran weight yarn and needle size make for a quick and easy knit. Tassels are added for a bit of bohemian fun and double as ghosts for Halloween. There’s also a Santa version!

Overnight Oats is knit in undyed wool and incorporates an easy, undulating rib pattern. Finishing includes embellishment with star-like “blueberries”. Blocking flat at the end creates a distinctive shape.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Ashae is an easy to knit asymmetrical shawl incorporating lace, garter and stockinette stitch. The pattern takes one full skein of sport weight merino yarn, big enough to wear as a shawl and small enough to wrap around as a scarf.
Knitting: Headband
The Sun Standing Still Headband is sister to the hat bearing the same name. It also uses the Filigree chart pattern from Alterknit Stitch Dictionary and a combination of Cascade 220 and Noro Kureyon.

The Sun Standing Still hat is a celebration of light and colour for the Winter Solstice. The return of the sun is an important and uplifting event in the narrow Bella Coola Valley which is surrounded by tall, majestic mountains that block the sun for many months.
Knitting: Cowl
Westsyde, with its wide, winding rib pattern, is a super quick knit with super bulky yarn. The result is a beautiful, warm and cozy cowl that keeps out winter’s chill.
