Cotton and alpaca fibers, both renowned for usefulness, are grown in the same region of Peru. PERUSE (get it?) combines the two in a spun blend with excellent softness and durability. Fabric knit or crocheted from Peruse is great for layering -- we recommend it for Spring/Fall tops and skirts. The dyework is challenging, calling for a complex process that requires several days. The result is a subtle effect, like watercolor. Enjoy!
