The refined quality of camel hair can be found at the boundary between merino and cashmere, but it clearly conducts itself in the manner of the latter. It is soft, easy and regulates heat exceptionally well – just think of the changes in temperature that a camel must face – but lacks in elasticity. That is why it is rare to find 100% camel hair; it is usually blended with wool, which supplies the necessary stretchiness. In order to offer the most precious yarn, we have blended it with the finest merino wool, and raised the proportion of camel hair to the highest possible degree so that we can exploit its favourable characteristics without having to sacrifice elasticity.
