This yarn is wonderfully soft and yet textural with a slight lustre. Fearniewell Croft, here on the Black Isle, is an organic croft specialising in organic veg boxes (they are delicious!) and their small Gotland flock is an integral part of their smallholding set-up. This beautiful flock has Shetland genes in its ancestry which adds to the colour range of fleeces and gives the very unique softness of the yarn. The 2018 clip has been supplemented with British Alpaca as we had fewer suitable dark fleeces this year. We have colour matched the pure Gotland DK spun previously and there are 4 shades as usual - Cream, Silver, Grey and Charcoal.
