These pure 100% silk yarns are hand painted and hand dyed individually, one at a time. Each truly is a one of a kind skein. Each is meticulously colored. The depth of color really comes through in the process, and the shimmer of the silk only enhances the color, and gives the finished project a more elegant look.

Hand wash in cool water and lay out flat on a towel to dry. Shrinkage is minimal because of the silk. Once knitted or washed, it will not bloom as regular wools tend to do. So, you can expect it to appear just as you’ve knitted/ crocheted/ woven it.

I consider these Pure Silks to be the top of the line, and the beauty, softness and color is truly amazing! They would be excellent for heirloom needle work, and may be used in needlepoint or embroidery, also.
