WHAT IS A SOCK BLANK?

Basically, a sock blank is undyed yarn that has been machine knitted.
I machine knit my own sock blanks so I can knit it wider than usually. These sock blanks are single knit, which means if you are making socks or mitts they will not match.
My sock blanks are all hand painted. I do not know what they will look like knitted up and that’s part of the fun!
When knitting from a blank, you simply unravel it as you knit. Please note that the yarn is going to be kinky, and that your project will look wrinkly until it’s washed and blocked.

Enjoy and let the sock blank surprise you!
