“Optim is a mechanically stretched then set merino wool. This gives it properties of both silk and wool. It has a finer diameter than merino, yet retains warmth and loft like wool. It is drapey and smooth like silk. Pre-draft and it will spin like butter. Will not felt. Yarn is machine washable on gentle cycle.”
