This yarn is a mix of 80% Corriedale and Polwarth Wool with 20% Nylon.

The yarn is from sheep that graze freely either in the Falkland Islands or in the UK.

It is fully traceable to source and is spun in the UK.

It is ethically produced and envionmentally friendly as possible.

It is superwashed treated in Yorkshire, UK using a process that is tightly controlled and subject to high safety and environmental standards.

It is not coated with a polymer at any stage of the process.

Although this yarn is superwashed treated, the treatment is gentler and leaves the wool fibres intact. It can be washed in a washing machine on a cool wool cyle, hand washing will mean yout item lasts longer.
