My love of multicoloured yarns and knitting socks led to dyeing my own sock yarns, both variegated and self-striping. I dye mostly for myself and my friends.

The name "Deegu" was coined by a friend combining my nickname (Dee) with the popular hand-painted yarn, Koigu.
