A new direction in sock yarn!

The fabric knitted from this yarn is slightly heavier than pure wool, it has a softer texture and a very smooth finish. It would be ideal for people who like socks with a smooth surface and not much of a halo, such as business socks.

This is definitely yarn you can wear next to your skin. Garments have slightly more drape than those made with pure wool. Stitches such as rib stitch still maintain elasticity.

This is as natural as you can get, insofar as non-synthetic sock yarn; although bamboo does have to be heavily processed to become yarn. The big benefit is for people who suffer from smelly feet - eliminating nylon may go a long way to improving “boot bouquet”.

This yarn is hand dyed and each skein will vary ever so slightly from the other. I recommend if you are making a project which needs more than one skein, you alternate yarn from each skein in each row.
