Made with high quality 100% Merino Wool from non-mulesing flocks, this yarn works up to most standard Aran weight knitting and crochet patterns. The merino is also one of the finer fibres of wool, which makes this an excellent all-rounder for everyday wear, but also provides exceptional comfort when worn next to the skin.

The 3-ply construction of this yarn gives excellent stitch definition whilst still being soft and sumptuous to hold. The superwash finish makes this yarn suitable for a delicate machine wash (though I will always recommend hand wash for hand knits where possible)

Wool itself has many benefits already. It is fire-resistant and will naturally extinguish a flame. It is breathable and naturally wicks moisture away from the skin, creating a temperature-regulating effect. Wool is a naturally renewable source, with sheep growing a new fleece to be shorn each year, as well as being biodegradable and compostable at the end of its life cycle, putting nutrients back into the ground. It is also resistant to odour, soiling, and water/spills, saving you the costs and time of regular hand washing.
