Go on now. make yourself a new special pair of socks or shawlette, or cowl, or…anything! You deserve it. This yarn would be perfect for baby clothes as well since it can go in the washing machine and dryer. Even if the recipient doesn’t know how to care for fine wools it will survive and be beautiful, soft and comfortable. This yarn feels “bouncy” and smooth, perfect for so many applications.

I use professional acid dyes to hand paint each skein of yarn or braid of spinning fiber. The photos have been optimized as much as possible to show the colors clearly but everyone’s monitors will show things slightly differently. The dyeing takes place in my live/work space which is smoke free and as fragrance free as possible, however there is a odor of lanolin and wool inherent in the the natural fibers already. We have 2 large dogs as well, but I strive to keep the fiber dog hair free! (If you have a severe allergy you may wish to shop with another indy dyer)
