Royal Llama yarn is made of 100% super-dehaired llama fiber in natural colors. Fibers are hand shorn and sorted for color and quality by expert Aymara hands in the Andes. Because these are natural, uncolored yarns, color variation is to be expected and is part of the unique character of natural fibers. At 21 microns, Royal Llama fiber is next to skin soft.

A hollow fiber, llama is extremely strong and warm as well as thermostatic (wide comfort range) due to its natural moisture regulation. Llama fiber is naturally antimicrobial, washable, flame retardant, durable, and will not pill.
