Almost as soft as merino, Blue Faced Leicester has a beautiful sheen and a bit more durability. The rarity of Blue Faced Leicester wool makes this yarn feel like a special treat.

All of my yarn is hand dyed in small batches with wash fast and light fast dyes in a professional dye studio. Although colors can be repeated, each skein is unique. I recommend alternating skeins if you are using more than one of the same color.

Care: Although the yarn is superwash, which means it can be machine washed, I always recommend hand washing your knitted items. As with all hand dyed yarn, a very small amount of bleeding may occur with the first few washes -- especially with dark blues or hot pink colors.
