Der Name dieses angenehm griffigen Garnes findet seinen Ursprung in der hübschen italienischen Altstadt, die auf einer Anhöhe inmitten der Hügellandschaft zwischen Alpen und Po-Ebene liegt. Das Neuartige an dieser hochwertigen Wolle-Alpaca-Polyacryl-Mischung sind die Noppen, die genau an diese traditionelle Weidelandschaft für Schafzucht erinnern. Sie geben dem Garn eine leichte, aber dennoch füllige Struktur. Wegen des speziellen Produktionsverfahren kann man hier von einem Volumengarn sprechen, das sich hervorragend mit 5er Nadeln verarbeiten lässt.

This yarn gets its name from the pretty Italian town, sitting on a hillock right in the middle of the rolling hills between the Alps and the Padan Plain. The new feature of this high-quality blend of wool, alpaca and polyacryl is the bobbles that are reminiscent of this traditional pasture land for sheep farming. They give the yarn its lightweight, yet plump structure. The special production process used in its manufacture makes it a high-volume yarn, which is perfect for size 5 knitting needles.
