Soft, wonderful cotton yarn combined with acrylic which results in a lightweight and solid end product. The blend is similar to our lovely color changing Twister – same content, just one-colored.

If you like Twister, then the opportunities of making creative projects have just multiplied to infinity. Twister Solid is like a dear, little helper of 3.5 oz. (100 g). With this yarn on your needles/hook, you can add a one-colored edge to shawls and scarves. Or create stripes with Twister Solid, so you can prolong the color transition of Twister. Or knit/crochet a blouse or cardigan in Twister and add one-colored sleeves or add a rib edge with Solid.

The possibilities are endless and we look forward to see what you will create with the yarn.

Originally, Twister Solid was thought of as an addition to Twister. But why play second fiddle!

Twister Solid is very well-suited for e.g. blouses and cardigans and other types of clothing. It does not have the same weight as 100% cotton, but it feels light and is soft and comfortable against the skin. Furthermore, it is ideal for kids’ clothing since it is easy to wash and stays neat.

PLEASE NOTE: Suggested knitting gauge is approx. 26 stitches x 35 rows with US needles size 2.5 (3 mm). On the yarn label it reads 22 stitches with US needle size 1.5-6 (2.5-4 mm). Twister Solid is a very flexible yarn which can be knitted tightly with US needle size 1.5 (2.5 mm), so you get a knitting gauge of approx. 28 stitches. You can also knit it looser with US needle size 6 (4 mm) and get approx. 22 stitches for e.g. extra soft shawls and scarves. Thus, you can experiment with the knitting gauge and easily vary it with various needle sizes depending on the project you are about to start. Try making a small gauge swatch of 4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm), so you can measure your knitting gauge before you start. Then you have the option to adjust it, so it matches the pattern or the gauge, you wish.

Besides this, another unfortunate mistake appears on the label. The yarn consists of 55% cotton and 45% acrylic. We apologize for the mistake!

PLEASE NOTE that Twister and Twister Solid will never match up 100%, since they are dyed in seperate dye lots.
