Handspun thick and thin bulky merino yarn, spun from hand painted and dyed fine merino wool, put up in skeins of 50 yards each. Typical skeins weigh from 2 to 2.5 oz.

Thicker yarn “slubs” are fairly evenly spaced, creating an interesting texture from simple stitches.

Coverage: Using a size Q crochet hook and hdc stitch, 50 yards will make a rectangle that’s approximately 18”x10” (180 sq. inches). Using size 17 needles, 50 yards will make a rectangle that’s approximately 16”x13” (208 sq. inches).

Available in a wide variety of solid, semi-solid and hand painted colors at http://www.hookaholichandspun.etsy.com

Needle and hook size will vary depending upon project. Smaller hooks and needles will make for a more dense, compact fabric.

This is not a superwash product and will felt. Care must be taken when washing.

Soaking in a wool wash with tepid water is recommended. Air dry.
