The SOX base is 75% super wash merino and 25% nylon. The skein weighs 100 gr and measures 400 meters.

The merino gives this yarn its softness and the nylon adds strength and durability. The yarn is machine washable but I do recommend always hand washing your items the first time around just in case any left over dyes were still present.

The yarn will give great stitch definition and the semi solid color way will let your textured stitches shine. Would be great for something like cables for example where you want the textured element of your project to really shine and the yarn to underline that feature rather than take over all the attention itself.

This yarn is ideal for knitting socks, hats, mittens, cowls, shawls, baby items and light weight cardigans and/or sweaters.
