Drafting method: Woolen spun

One strand of this yarn is woolen-spun Mountain Merino™ from sheep raised in the beautiful mountains of Wyoming, the other strand is luscious laceweight silk. Though it is a DK weight, the yarn is so springy that it knits up wonderfully on 4.0 mm (US 6) to 5.5 mm (US 9) needles, and makes a fabric you can’t help but squeeze every couple of rows. The silk peeks out every so often for a little pop of shimmer that will enhance (not obscure) your chosen stitch pattern.
