“Angel Touch” from Peru Naturtex is made of incredibly soft, naturally coloured, undyed baby alpaca in gray and brown shades.

The Alpacas with their colored growing, very fine fleece live on the pastures of the Andes since 8000 years. They were increasingly displaced by the pure-white alpaca, because the shepherds got more money for its fleece.

Peru Naturtex pays the farmers more money for the colored fleece than they would get for the white one.
So they help to keep the traditional Peruvian biodiversity.

The fibers for Angel Touch come from alpacas and llamas of all shades that are held on a 7,000-hectare farm that belongs to a regional NGO. They graze in natural conditions, without the use of chemicals for the ground or the animals.

They use traditional, natural methods of disease control
and prevent overgrazing by re-planting native grasses on parts of bare land.

They have to be washed by hand and dried flat.
