Cuckoo Cashmere is the fourth yarn for the Purl &Jane family. It was launched at Yarndale 2019, a local weekend show to Purl &Jane’s Skipton Studio, and it had sold out by lunchtime on the Sunday! The favourite comment from excited knitters was “Oh, it’s so soft!”

I explored the mills around Bradford, West Yorkshire, on a journey to find a traditional spinner to spin the natural fibres that make up the Purl &Jane yarn family for yarn lovers everywhere.

The yarns, all chosen for their special qualities and unique story, may have started their journeys all around the world but they’ve been spun in Yorkshire by experts with a passion for producing the perfect Yorkshire yarn to give knitters something completely unique and wonderful to knit with.
