suggested gauges: (knit loosely)
size 9 needles 16 st x 22 rows = 4”
size 10 needles 14 st x 18 rows = 4”
Wash in lukewarm water and mild soap or detergent, nonionic is best. Soak in suds for about 20 minutes, then rinse thoroughly in lukewarm water. Do not wring, but squeeze out water gently. Dry flat, and if necessary, press (iron) gently with damp cloth.

Brushing instructions: After constructing your garment according to finishing instructions, gently brush entire right side of garment. Work in segments of approx. 6”/15cm square, brushing to desired fluffiness. Brush the area in different directions to maintain garment’s shape and avoid stretching wider or longer than finished measurements. Should your sweater mat after several wearings, simply rebrush to restore original fluffiness. Rebrush lightly after each washing. Periodically remove fuzz from brush to maintain its effectiveness.
