This hand dyed, tonal yarn is prepared in small batches exclusively for Simply Socks Yarn Company. First, we selected a specially milled blend of fiber with a hint of sheen. Then we layer color upon color to achieve a skein that has a shadow and light effect, or a patina that gives a burnished look- thus the name of the collection. The result of this combination is a generously sized skein that is perfect for long lasting socks or a shawl with beautiful drape and hint of luster usually reserved for pricier yarns.
