Jenny is a robust sock yarn, ideal for boot socks, welly socks, and winter socks.

75% new wool, 25% nylon
Usually sold in 150g / 390m skeins (260m/100g), but smaller skeins may be available occasionally.

It’s a bit heavier than sportweight, but Ravelry doesn’t currently have a category for that! It will knit up in a similar manner to some of the heavier German sock yarns such as the Trekking, Opal and Regia 6-Ply(6-fach) sock yarns.

I’ve achieved a gauge of 28 stitches and 39 1/2 rows to 4 inches on 3mm needles for socks, and a sample knitted by a friend on 2.75mm needles is very similar.
