Arachne is a wonderful yarn blended of kid mohair, wool and nylon. It is perfect for shawls, lacy sweaters and vests.

The above needle and gauge ranges are based upon the yards/pound of this yarn. Mohair is typically knitted on larger needles with open, lacey stitches (it would be way too warm otherwise … unless you lived at the North Pole).

This yarn is used in two Spirit Trail Fiberworks patterns, the Redwood Shawl and the Elegant Mohair Pullover.
