Merino Nylon Sock Blank
from
strickgewand
Two pieces of identical size are knit first from new, undyed sock yarn. They are placed next to each other and thus can be dyed/handpainted as identical as possible. The dyed pieces show how the finished socks could look like (depends a little on the sock size to be knit). Dyed with KOOL-AID.
One piece weighs about 50g and corresponds to about one sock for shoe size 41. After drying the pieces are unraveled and wound into a ball. The yarn thus looks unraveled but this has no impact on the new sock to be knit. Please note: to obtain 2 similar socks, the balls must be started both alike resp. with the yarn taken from the center or from the outside of the ball for both socks each.
This yarn is sold.
