This artisanal yarn is a unique blend of the wool of three British sheep breeds known for their beautiful fleeces, Southdown, Bluefaced Leicester and Shetland, creating a fabulously soft white yarn with bounce and spring.

Wold 2 Ply is worsted spun from 2 plies into an airy, fingering weight yarn.

Available in handy 25g skeins making it a perfect yarn for colourwork. Worsted spun for a smoother yarn but with enough bite for Fair Isle projects.

Wold is dyed in-house by Susan and her team at A Room Of My Own in a wide range of beautiful and varied shades. Wold takes colour extremely well resulting in rich, semi-solid shades. Wold is a non-superwash yarn and should be washed by hand in cool water with a gentle wool wash.
