Made from 100% British Shetland wool, this soft and plump yarn has fingering yardage, but it’s so puffy it knits up like sport! A hard-wearing yarn with crunchy texture, it’s great for shawls, sweaters and hats.

As implied by the name, this yarn is softer than average for Shetland, but it may feel a little rougher than usual if you are used to merino and cashmere! As is, it is soft enough for next-to-the-skin items, and it’ll soften even more over time, with washing and wear, but never loosing the crunch and texture characteristic of this breed. Shetland is one of my favourite yarns to wear - a must, in my opinion!
