Combed 4-ply 100% Italian wool from the Brogna breed from the province of Veneto. This breed almost became extinct in the 1980s and only 1700 purebred Brogna Sheep are currently registered in Italy. This fine wool was renowned in the Middle Ages for its use in Verona Woolens.

From the 2013 shearing, this soft, delicate wool is a pale straw color and twisted to create a texture like that of a fine gold chain. Perfect for fine work: socks, shawls, light sweaters and children’s knits. Recommended needle gauge: US 2.5-6 (3-4 mm)
