100% Superwash Blue Faced Leicester yarn

Blue Faced Leicester (BFL) is an English longwool breed. Whilst not as baby soft as the merino yarn it still feels lovely against the skin and is renowned for its lustrous shine and drape. It can really showcase a beautiful stitch pattern, and is perfect for shawls and lacework. The scales of BFL fibre are longer than merino which means they are more resistant to felting.

This yarn has been treated with a superwash which means that the yarn can be machine washed, although we do recommend handwashing your hand-knits if possible.
